Clinician - Developmental Disabilities Program

Overview:
Join our team at the WJCS Developmental Disabilities Program, based at the Hartsdale Clinic, as a Clinician. In this hybrid part-time role (21 hours per week), you will provide therapeutic services to individuals ages 5 through adulthood who are dually diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, along with co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
The salary range for this hybrid 21 hours per week position is $39,000 - $45,000.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Providing evidence-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
+ Collaborating with professionals from schools, hospitals, and community agencies to coordinate care and support.
+ Interpreting psychological assessments and data to inform treatment planning and provide psychoeducation to interdisciplinary team members.
+ Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation and complete required agency reports.
+ Performing other related duties as needed.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualification:
+ Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school.
+ Current NYS licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC)
+ Thorough understanding of psychiatric disorders.
+ Experience working with people who have developmental disabilities and/or autism.
+ Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
+ Experience working on an interdisciplinary team in an outpatient setting.
