**Pay Range:** $18.87 - $26.66 per hour

Summary:
The Print & Production Graphics Manager oversees the operations and financial functions of the Quick Copy Center within the University. This role is responsible for managing print and copy production, overseeing the department’s budget and financial processes, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to Rush University and Rush Medical Center clients. The Manager exemplifies Rush's mission, vision, and values while leading operational excellence and fiscal accountability.
Required Job Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in print production, with at least 1 year in a supervisory and/or financial oversight role.
3. Demonstrated experience in managing departmental budgets and conducting account reconciliations.
4. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Publisher, and other print-related software.
5. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
6. Excellent customer service orientation and ability to collaborate across departments.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities:
1. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Quick Copy Center, including production workflow, equipment use, and customer service delivery.
2. Maintains financial responsibility for the department, including budget preparation, expense tracking, and account reconciliation.
3. Oversees internal billing, reviews financial transactions, and partners with Finance and college to ensure fiscal compliance and accuracy.
4. Develops and approves cost estimates for print projects; ensures accurate invoicing and internal chargebacks.
5. Coordinates maintenance and servicing of all printing equipment, initiates leases, and ensures all machines are functional and compliant with safety standards.
6. Coordinates procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies; maintains vendor relationships and ensures budget-conscious purchasing.
7. Provides consultation to clients on print and production options to optimize cost, quality, and turnaround time.
8. Maintains and monitors all print equipment, initiates service/repairs as needed and ensures proper maintenance.
9. Analyzes production volume, turnaround time, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
10. Develops and implements standard operating procedures for all areas of Quick Copy services.
11. Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
