Basic Job Functions:

+ Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly

+ Control and adjust equipment settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely manner

+ Assemble fabricated parts, components, or other units

+ Align materials and assemble parts to build units

+ Handle fiberglass/insulation

+ Work with various chemicals including adhesives and hardeners

+ Use hand and power tools to cut, drill, grind, and fasten materials

+ Use simple measurement instruments such as tape measures and scales to verify correct product build specifications

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

+ General housekeeping duties (sweeping, emptying trash, etc.)

+ Support other departments when work is slow in assembly

+ Occasionally driving forklift

+ Performs related duties as assigned by supervision

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Basic math skills

+ Read and understand blueprints

+ Use hand and /or power tools

+ Basic reading and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Previous experience working for a manufacturing company

+ High school diploma and or equivalent and /or related experience

+ Ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements

+ Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing

+ Bilingual English/Spanish , preferred
