Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Bowling Center at Travis Air Force Base, CA. Work Schedule: Intermittent (Flexible) employees have no guaranteed hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. Physical Effort: Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds. Eligible to use base facilities such as the Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center. Tuition Assistance after one year! Responsibilities Performs standby service on automatic pinsetters, correcting pin jams and minor malfunctions. Records stops on log. Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems to keep down time to a minimum. Follows regular preventive maintenance and cleaning schedules. Replacing damaged pins as necessary. Keeps pit and other work areas neat and clean at all times. Plugs and refinished bowling balls as instructed. Performs simple repair assignments according to detailed instructions. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
