    Job Title: 1ST Shift Export Clerk

    Reports to: Curtis Devore

     

    Effective Date: 05/22/2025

     

    Job Status: Full Time

     

    FLSA Status: Salaried Non-Exempt

     

    The JBS Pork team is seeking a 1st Shift Export Clerk.

    HOURS:

    10am-6pm- Needs to be flexible for weekend work when needed

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Complete export documentation for export orders during the shift

     

    Convey Export documentation and work with USDA Vets to ensure accuracy and timeliness

     

    Backup for billing clerk including verifying/billing orders and filing bill of ladings

     

    Email completed orders by loading dock to billing office.

     

    Perform various other accounting duties as needed to ensure efficiency in the Accounting Department.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

     

    Previous accounting and computer entry experience preferred

     

    Strong organizational skills

     

    Communication skills - written and verbal including phone etiquette

     

    Team player among all shifts

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    + Ability to prioritize tasks.

    + Basic computer and Microsoft Office software (word, PowerPoint, excel) skills.

    + Internal applicants must have less than 2 attendance points and no written warnings or suspensions in the last calendar year.

    + Good people skills

    + Self-motivated and work well without direct supervision

    + Organized

    + Ability to follow instructions

    Education, Experience, Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Bilingual (plus but not required)

    + Computer skills and knowledge

    + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Climbing stairs

    + Frequent visits to production areas, environment consists of: Hot, Cold, Smells, PPE Required.

    + Slippery floors, extreme temperature and loud noises.
