JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Weekend Supervisor, the MEC Overnight monitor will assist in the overall administrative and clinical operations of the 100 bed, OASAS licensed residential treatment facility. She/he will monitor the overnight shift while ensuring safety of the program by conducting floor runs, bed-checks, overseeing medication and conducting crisis intervention as needed
SCOPE OF INFLUENCE
+ Provide oversight during the overnight shift ensuring a safe environment in an 820 model
+ Facilitate behavioral and clinical interventions in the part 820 model of care
+ Data entry into the STARS/HRA site and perform administrative tasks including shift reports
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
+ Adhere to Program policies, procedures, services and activities in collaboration with the Director of Vocational and MEC Services and Weekend Supervisor
+ Conduct safety checks and facility runs to ensure a safe environment for the customers residing in the program.
+ Monitor HRA attendance and data entry in the HRA/Stars site
+ Conduct safety drills as scheduled.
+ Carry out disbursement and accounting of petty cash, food, and client money.
+ Oversee medication administration and oversight.
+ Facilitate interventions with customers in a part 820 model of care.
+ Attend regularly scheduled meetings and trainings
+ Maintains a professional demeanor at all times
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Knowledge:
+ High School Diploma and CASAC -T/CASAC
+ At least three years’ experience with substance abuse population; residential experience preferred
+ Ability to multitask and handle challenging situations in a professional and courteous manner
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
+ Willingness to work as part of a team
