    Position Summary

    Proactively defines, identifies, develops and creates data responsive to regulatory requirements and provides oversight, coaching and mentoring of team member work. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

     

    + Perform analytical work requiring ability to capture, analyze and interpret claims data

    + Manage translation of business needs into business requirements

    + Ensure project documentation is accurate and complete

    + Create queries; perform technical programming

    + Present data in a clear organized format

    + Creatively translate information using business knowledge and identify additional information needed to support analytical objectives

    + Review team member work for accuracy and completeness

    + Mentor and train team members

    + Run 1 - 2 projects simultaneously and independently while providing team guidance with minimal oversight

     

    The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with strong data analysis and analytical skills who is capable of providing leadership and guidance, while also working independently. Responsibilities include review of state regulations, review of compliance interpretation, writing business specifications, data quality review, data preparation, compliance to regulatory requirements, reviewing team member work, providing mentoring/training, running multiple projects simultaneously and independently while providing team guidance with little, or no oversight. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams) is required.

     

    Candidates should know SQL; or SAS; and/or technical capabilities relative to data mining & report generation. Knowledge of claims processing, claims quality audit programs, patient management, and/or a working understanding of Aetna products is highly preferred. The candidate will have excellent project management, communication and coaching/training skills and will meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility. The candidate should exhibit the ability to quickly and positively adapt to a changing environment. It is essential that the candidate builds and maintains effective working relationships with peers, management and others within and across organizational lines. Also desired is demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. We value a desire and willingness to learn. Some overtime will be required.

    Required Qualificat** **ions

    + 3+ years of data interpretation, data management, and analysis experience.

    + At least 2+ years of experience working with advanced SQL queries or SAS.

    + 3+ years of Alteryx experience.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with Performance Guarantees.

    + Experience with Python a plus but not required.

    + We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.Aetna Service Operations office/hub locations will be discussed with the selected candidate

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $46,988.00 - $91,800.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
