    Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP BOBJ Consultant who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BOBJ Consultant to join our technology team as a Technology Architect specializing in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and Generative AI. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced business intelligence solutions, driving platform modernization, performance optimization, and seamless integration across SAP systems. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making and innovation through impactful data insights and reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of SAP BOBJ solutions with a focus on modernization and performance engineering.

    + Administer and maintain SAP BOBJ platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing environments.

    + Integrate SAP BOBJ with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to enhance data visualization and analysis capabilities.

    + Develop and manage SAP BOBJ Universes to ensure consistent and accessible data models for reporting.

    + Design and deliver high-quality reports using SAP Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence (WebI).

    + Implement report scheduling and publication strategies to streamline distribution and improve operational efficiency.

    + Conduct SAP BO auditing to ensure compliance, data integrity, and governance.

    + Drive initiatives in SAP Analysis for Office to empower advanced user-driven analytics.

    + Collaborate with data science and AI teams to integrate Generative AI for predictive analytics and intelligent reporting.

    + Apply SAP BO security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.

    + Lead platform modernization projects, adopting emerging technologies and methodologies.

    + Provide technical leadership and support for SAP BO and SAC interoperability.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, delivering innovative and scalable solutions.

    Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in SAP BOBJ Administration, including platform setup, maintenance, and optimization.

    + Strong expertise in SAP Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, and Universe Design.

    + Hands-on experience with SAP BOBJ Report Publications, Scheduling, and Auditing.

    + Proficiency in SAP BO Security and Performance Engineering.

    + Experience with SAP Analysis for Office and integration with Excel-based reporting.

    + Familiarity with Generative AI applications in business intelligence and analytics.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

    + Strong communication and documentation skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Domain experience in Supply Chain within the Consumer Goods sector.

    + Exposure to cloud-based SAP solutions and data lake architectures.

    + Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
