    Job Overview:

    Under the supervision of a Department of Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor or Manager, the Food Service Worker performs a wide variety of routine tasks such as itemize total food/beverage orders and ring orders into the cash register.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Basic math skills

    + Ability to run a cash register efficiently and handle cash properly

    Preferred:

    + Prior cashier experience preferred

    Scheduling Requirements

    + Shift: Evening

    + Status: Per Diem

    + Position may require work every other weekend depending on the department s needs.

    Essential Functions:

    + Itemize total food/beverage orders and ring orders into the cash register

    + Collects payment from customers and makes change, maintains accuracy of the cash drawer

    + Reconciles cash receipts to sales to verify accuracy of all transactions

    + Maintain areas of the serving line.

    Pay Range $18.00 to $19.46 Hourly Rate
