Senior React Developer

We are looking for a Senior React Developer who will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance loan origination processes. With a focus on AWS React JS SQL Spring Boot Java Javascript and mySQL the candidate will contribute to creating efficient and scalable applications. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of loan origination domain skills and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment during day shifts.

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Hybrid position, 5 days a week at the office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using AWS React JS SQL Spring Boot Java Javascript and mySQL to support loan origination processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions that meet business needs

• Implement best practices in coding and software development to ensure robust and scalable applications

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system performance and reliability

• Optimize application performance by analyzing and improving code efficiency

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers to foster skill development

• Conduct testing and validation of software applications to ensure functionality and security

• Document software designs and development processes for future reference and knowledge sharing

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve software solutions

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their needs in loan origination systems

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all software development activities

• Contribute to the company’s purpose by developing software that enhances loan origination efficiency and impacts society positively

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge on React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Redux, Redux Middleware SAGA, GIT, FIGMA

• Should have good communication skills to coordinate with key stakeholders like Business, PO and SCRUM Leads

• Hands-on idea of deployment activity using GIT CI/CD Pipeline

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

• Ensure that all software development follows best practices and complies with company standards.

• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability of the software.

Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 24 th , 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 – $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
