Overview:
Adecco is seeking a skilled **Procurement Associate** to join a dynamic team in the Piscataway, NJ area. This role is critical in managing and developing strategic procurement plans for major projects, leading negotiations, and guiding sourcing activities across Supply Services. These services include, but are not limited to, Facility, MRO, Capital, Manufacturing, and R&D supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Compliance
+ Adhere to the Global Procurement Policy Manual (GPPM) and Contract Risk Management Committee (CRMC) processes.
+ Uphold ethical vendor relationships and support risk assessment/mitigation strategies.
+ Align with annual goal initiatives and respond to urgent sourcing requests.
Strategic Sourcing & Project Management
+ Lead strategic procurement initiatives including construction and renovation projects.
+ Manage contract negotiations and ensure contract visibility in Ariba repository.
+ Build and lead RFPs/RFQs and provide data-driven insights to support capital strategy.
Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement
+ Foster strong internal relationships to align with stakeholder needs and priorities.
+ Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
+ Actively participate in global procurement networks and digital transformation efforts.
Data & Analytics
+ Perform spend analyses and monitor global sourcing KPIs.
+ Ensure compliance with P2P processes and payment terms.
+ Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and input sourcing data effectively.
Required Skills:
+ Strong **project management** for capital equipment and real estate procurement.
+ Excellent **business and data analysis** abilities using digital tools.
+ Strategic mindset with emphasis on **value creation vs. cost saving** .
+ Effective **negotiation and communication skills** .
+ Proven ability to **collaborate across functions and regions** .
+ Experience in FMCG or similar procurement environments.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
+ Minimum of **6 years’ experience** in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
+ Proficient in **Microsoft and Google Suite** .
+ Demonstrated success in sourcing, category management, and procurement strategy.
**Pay Details:** $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
