**1st shift CNC Press Brake Operator | Allentown, PA |** Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE) | 7am - 3:30pm

Position Summary: Looking for an energetic and motivated CNC Press Brake Lead/Operator to lead and operate our bending operations and take our fabrication department to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machinery to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

+ Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine appropriate machine settings and fabrication methods.

+ Select and install appropriate tooling for each job, ensuring accuracy during set-up and changeovers.

+ Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, tape measures, and squares to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.

+ Make minor machine adjustments as needed and troubleshoot basic mechanical or programming issues.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards at all times.

+ Document production data and maintain accurate records of work completed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

+ 3–5 years of direct experience operating CNC press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

+ Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and shop drawings.

+ Strong understanding of tooling, bend allowances, and metal characteristics.

+ Ability to perform accurate measurements and basic mathematical calculations.

+ Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Able to work overtime when necessary.

+ Highschool diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

+ Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.

+ Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

+ Able to wear required PPE such as eye protection and protective clothing.

**Pay Details:** $56,840.00 to $62,400.00 per year
