Logistics Operations Coordinator
**Location:** Tacoma, WA
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
**Pay:** $20–$23/hour (based on experience)
**Type:** Full-time | Temp-to-Hire
Adecco is partnering with a leading logistics and cargo services provider in Tacoma, WA to hire a **Logistics Operations Coordinator** . This is a dynamic, full-time opportunity for someone with a background in shipping or transportation who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
+ Deliver exceptional front-line customer service in a logistics and shipping environment
+ Coordinate vessel arrivals, monitor routes, and communicate delays to internal teams and port authorities
+ Review and verify shipping manifests and cargo documentation
+ Maintain accurate records and data entry for transportation and cargo
+ Support dispatch operations and assist truck drivers with slip tickets and documentation
+ Communicate with vessel captains, engineers, port teams, and external clients
+ Cross-train in HR, payroll, and accounting functions to support broader operations
+ Serve as a central communication hub across port operations
What You Bring:
+ 1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or transportation logistics (required)
+ Strong coordination and documentation skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
+ High attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
+ Eagerness to learn and grow across multiple departments

**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
