Compliance Specialist
The Compliance Specialist supports manufacturing operations by managing **Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)** related to **production** and **Environmental Monitoring (EM)** events. This role leads investigations, authors detailed reports, assigns and tracks **Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs)** and **Effectiveness Checks (ECs)** , and ensures timely, compliant resolution of issues. The Compliance Specialist works cross-functionally with **Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance,** and **Facilities** teams to drive continuous improvement and uphold regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Management
+ Investigate both significant and non-significant NCRs related to production and EM.
+ Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
+ Author and maintain comprehensive NCR documentation, including cause, impact, and corrective actions.
+ Ensure timely and compliant closure of NCRs per internal and regulatory guidelines.
Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs)
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective CAPAs.
+ Ensure actions directly address root causes and align with compliance expectations.
+ Track progress, documentation, and verification of CAPA implementation.
+ Drive timely completion of CAPA initiatives.
Effectiveness Checks (ECs)
+ Conduct and document ECs to confirm the success of implemented CAPAs.
+ Analyze EC outcomes and suggest further corrective actions when needed.
+ Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement efforts.

Education & Experience
Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED with 8–10 years of relevant experience; **or**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field with 5–7 years of experience (preferred).
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or compliance roles.
+ Hands-on experience managing NCRs, CAPAs, and ECs.
+ Strong knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., cGMP, ISO 9001, FDA).
+ Skilled in documentation practices and electronic document control systems.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

**Pay Details:** $34.00 to $37.90 per hour
