    *This is a per diem/casual position working 8-hr day shifts on varied weekdays, generally from 8am-4:30pm. No weekends or evenings. Must work 4 shifts in 4 weeks but ideally will pick up more shifts. Training is full time for 4 weeks. Located at Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo.*

    * The department consists of 9 chairs and do an average of 35-50 cancer treatments including oncology infusions and supporting treatments.

    * The care team includes the charge nurse, infusion nurses, and scheduling team.

    * You will work in close contact with the clinic provider and their team.

    *What you'll do: *

    * Perform patient assessments, central line management, chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, supportive care medication administration, etc.

    * Educate patients and document patient interactions.

    * Practice infection control.

    * Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.

    *Required Qualifications:*

    * ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.

    * Completion of accredited RN program.

    * Minimum 1 year RN experience.

    * Current CA RN license.

    * Current American Heart Association BLS certificate.

    * Chemotherapy/biotherapy administration experience.

    *Preferred Qualifications:*

    * 1 or more years RN experience in an outpatient Oncology setting.

    * Excellent IV skills and experience with central venous catheters.

    * Outpatient oncology infusion experience.
