    Winterwood, Inc. is hiring for the role of Maintenance Technician in Bardstown, KY. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations and physical appearance of two small properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in apartment or property maintenance and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality work, safety, and resident satisfaction.

    Position Details:

    + Properties:

    + Colonial Woods Apts.: 232 Marvin Downs, Bardstown, KY 40004 (24 units)

    + Birch Trace Apts.: 1100 Harding Place, Bardstown, KY 40004 (24 units)

    + Job Type : Part Time ( 24 hours per week)

    + Work Schedule: 8 :00 AM to 4 : 3 0 PM ( Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays)

    + Compensation : $ 15 .00 per hour , plus monthly cel l phone reimbursement of $50

    + Sign-on bonus : $ 2 50 (Payable on first paycheck. Rehires are eligible if their separation period has been 1 year or more).

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    + A minimum of two years of p roperty or apartment maintenance experience.

    + Basic k nowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, basic plumbing, basic electric al , etc.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    + Must possess own basic hand tools.

    + After hours availability in the event of an emergency.

    + Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb ladders.

    + Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

    Responsibilities:

    + Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.

    + Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.

    + Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.

    + Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.

    + Other related tasks, as assigned.
