Logistics Specialist

Join our inbound transportation team as a Logistics Specialist, where you will play a key role in managing scheduled pickups, rerouting hauls, resolving transportation challenges, and conducting data analysis. You will collaborate with multiple vendors to ensure the efficient movement of freight using 18-wheelers. This position requires both strong interpersonal skills and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage scheduled pickups while adjusting hauls as needed

- Resolve transportation issues and analyze shipment data to identify solutions

- Conduct meetings to review operational plans and recap previous activities

- Track vendor activity using Excel and communicate effectively to address concerns

- Work with approximately fifty vendors to ensure timely shipments

- Investigate and resolve shipment delays or disruptions

Essential Skills:

- 4+ years professional work experience

- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office

- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills

- Experience in transportation, business analytics, or business intelligence

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- 4+ years of industry experience

- Ability to work across multiple screens and solve complex challenges

- Demonstrate customer-focus, proactive mindset, and results-oriented approach

- Prior experience in a start-up environment and history of career advancement

Work Environment:

- Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
