    Pricing Analyst

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled contractor for a period of three or more months to join our dynamic department as a Pricing Analyst. The primary focus of this role will be on rigorous testing and validation of new Power BI models to ensure accurate data extraction and seamless functionality. The successful candidate will be responsible for standing up new Power BI models, validating clean data, and facilitating the transition. Once testing is complete, collaboration with other departments will be key to deliver the necessary analytics.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct extensive testing to ensure accurate data extraction from Power BI models.

    + Develop and maintain Power BI models, ensuring data cleanliness and successful transitions.

    + Collaborate with various departments to provide necessary analytics post-testing.

    + Assess data from multiple sources to derive insights into pricing strategies and market trends.

    + Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze competitor pricing, product trends, international pricing, market share, and margins.

    + Share findings with management and key stakeholders to drive pricing strategy.

    + Analyze product and contract asset level data to make recommendations for sales and profitability improvements.

    + Develop and maintain an international pricing matrix to derive country-based price lists.

    + Analyze pricing relationships and trends across product categories to establish target pricing.

    + Monitor fluctuations in costs related to parts, labor rates, logistics, and international markets; recommend pricing by geographic region.

    + Develop dynamic pricing tools and profitability models to show potential impacts of various pricing strategies.

    Essential Skills

    + Extensive experience with Power BI.

    + Previous experience as a pricing or data analyst.

    + Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

    + High attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + SQL experience is a plus.

    + Ability to research subsets of data.

    + Expertise in Power BI, DAX formulas, creating measures, reports, visuals, and data modeling.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role involves working onsite from Monday to Thursday, with the opportunity to work from home on Fridays.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
