Responsibilities

Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan Joint Commission and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. Provides the professional care necessary to achieve the goals of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program; the achievement and maintenance of optimal physical and psychological functions in patients with coronary heart and pulmonary disease. Serves as a role model of cardiac and pulmonary fitness by integrating the role components of clinician teacher and consultant.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years experience in cardiovascular nursing.

Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications. Baccalaureate degree preferred.

CA RN BLS and ACLS. Achieve Cardiac Rehab Certification within 18 months of hire for Cardiac Rehab Nurse.

Advanced knowledge of Coronary Artery Disease Anatomy and Physiology risk factor identification lifestyle modification basic dysrhythmia knowledge excellent communication / collaboration skills basic computer skills must be able to interact with patients have educational expertise and have one on one and group skills. Cardiac Rehab experience is preferred.

Pay Range

$43.37 - $68.25 /hour
