    About the position:

    We’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team to perform routine machinery maintenance tasks by using standard procedure, tools, materials, machines and equipment. You will:

     

    * Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment including, but not necessarily limited to, motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc.

    * Examines mechanical machinery and equipment to diagnose trouble.

    * Inspects defective machinery and equipment to determine wear or damage.

    * Disassembles machinery and equipment and repairs or replaces broken parts.

    * Adjusts functional parts of mechanical machinery and equipment as necessary.

    Cleans and lubricates parts. Orders replacement parts.

    * Inspects completed repairs. Completes disassembly and rebuild of machinery, equipment or subassemblies.

    * Follows standardized work to complete tasks.

    * Supports the Company’s 5S program in an effort to maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner.

    * Makes recommendations to change outdated or ineffective procedures through the kaizen process.

    * Supports Toyota Production System (TPS) driven processes and activities.

    About the schedule:

    This position is 1st shift and works Monday – Thursday 6am – 3:30pm and Friday 6am – 10am.

    About you:

    * High School Diploma or GED

    * Two or more years maintenance mechanic or similar experience

    * Experience with repair and measuring equipment

    * Experience with tools, gears, machine wiring, welding, and cutting as applied to repair and rebuild work

    * Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles and machine operations

    It would be great if you had:

    * CNC Machining Experience

    * Experience with basic manual and power tools

    About the total compensation package:

    Wage - $25.00 - 32.00 per hour. Compensation based on experience.
