Aston Carter is looking to hire a tax accountant in Omaha, NE. This position offers competitive pay with a top company in the area!
Job Description
+ Prepare and/or review the after-tax benefit schedule associated with various partnership investments (renewable energy, real estate, infrastructure, etc)
+ Oversee and review the preparation of hypothetical liquidation book value calculations for co-investor financial statements
+ Manage tax compliance and planning associated with partnership investments including tax return review, correspondence with various external tax preparers, and assigning staff for internal tax return preparation
+ Partner with tax department and its renewable energy department to provide relevant information and optimize their workflows to comply with co-investor and regulatory deadlines
+ Prepare quarterly tax estimates of anticipated tax credits and flow through income/loss for internal and external reporting
+ Manage the complex calculations associated with various federal credits, book capital accounts, inside and outside tax basis, tax attribute carryforwards, etc
+ Participate in the due diligence phase of an investment prior to close to manage risks, provide tax modeling and operating agreement review, maximize profitability, and establish the mechanics for managing the investment post-close.
+ Review and maintenance of capital accounts including analyzing accounts for year ending fundings and deficit restoration obligations
+ Review and maintenance of book to tax differences related to partnership investments
Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelors Degree required in Accounting or Business Administration. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)-Preferred
+ 2+ years of tax compliance and return preparation experience in a public accounting firm. Partnership taxation experience is preferred.
+ Consistent, High Quality Results: Establishes credibility and finance leadership by producing timely, accurate and insightful results, consistently.
+ Extensive Microsoft Excel experience. Ability to organize large amounts of data.
+ Efficiency/Accountability: Allocates time efficiently, focusing on ever-shifting priorities, continually seeks ways to improve individual and team productivity.
+ Highly accountable and able to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Effective follow through skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, day 1 2 plans, high deducible and assurityETO- .0846 hours for every hour that you work (more the longer you have been there), 11 days in calendar year, 5 floating holidays (do not roll over), 6 major holidays 401k match, 3%$300 every year reimbursement for gym membership, equipment, etc. Personifies, wellness app, can earmn$100/ per quarter or money towards HSA500 shares of stock given (day 1), 75k, 10% vested each year (10 yrs vested).
