**VCA Castle Hills Companion Animal Hospital** is expanding its team and is seeking a **Veterinary Technician** ! Our full-service facility offers Urgent Care and Preventative/Routine medical care. In addition to our general veterinary services, we offer advanced services such as internal medicine consults, ultrasounds, and advanced soft tissue surgeries.

The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

+ Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures.

+ Venipuncture and IVC placement.

+ Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.

+ Work with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients receive the best possible care and communicate frequently with the team.

+ Recognize subtle changes in clinical status.

+ Discharge instructions with clients when they can bring their furry family member back home.

+ Reviewing patient treatment plans with clients.

+ Anesthesia monitoring.

+ Perform digital radiography using proper technique, including correct positioning of patients.

+ Dentals.

+ Client interaction

**Compensation:** Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
