Responsibilities

The 24-bed Adult Cardiac Telemetry Chest Pain Unit located on Tower 7 at St. Joseph's Hospital provides family-centered care for a diverse patient population. We practice primary care utilizing a team of registered nurses, patient care technicians and certified nursing assistants. We maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. All of the rooms are private and provide individual bathrooms inclusive of a private shower. Join us now as we are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.

Qualifications

Minimum:

+ AZ RN license.

+ American Heart Association BCLS certification and resuscitation level certificate as appropriate to assigned department.

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (in monitored areas).

+ ACLS certification (in monitored areas).

+ Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Basic Computer Skills

Preferred:

+ BSN

+ One year recent acute care experience.

+ Professional certification in area of specialty.

Pay Range

$35.00 - $58.63 /hour
