    Job Title: Install Technician

    Job Description

    Join a leading Specialty Contractor based in Farmington, MN. We design, fabricate, build, and install greenhouses across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. The role involves a mix of fabrication work in our shop and traveling to various sites to install greenhouses.

    Responsibilities

    + Work in the shop fabricating materials.

    + Travel Monday to Friday to various locations, with potential weekend stays.

    + Collaborate with crews and subcontractors on commercial projects.

    + Ensure schedules are adhered to and projects are completed on time.

    + Utilize hand and power tools, including drills and hammers, to construct greenhouses.

    + Work from blueprints and plans to complete installations.

    + Possibly engage in welding and other specialized tasks if qualified.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools.

    + Experience in fabrication and construction.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Valid driver's license with no restrictions.

    + Not afraid of heights.

    + Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ year of building experience.

    + 3+ years of experience in metal/glass fabrication is preferred and may lead to higher pay.

    Work Environment

     

    Work involves both shop-based fabrication and on-site installation. Expect to travel approximately 50% of the time to locations within IA, NB, WI, MN, ND, and SD. Working hours in the shop are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. We provide lodging and per diem for travel as needed.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
