Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled **Quality Inspector** to ensure the quality and precision of metal fabricated parts. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining and steel fabrication, along with knowledge of **CMM** and **ISO 9001** standards. This role involves conducting inspections, maintaining calibration certifications, and testing equipment to ensure compliance with traceable measurement standards.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform quality inspections on metal fabricated parts

+ Conduct in-process and receiving inspections

+ Maintain calibration certifications for all gauge assets

+ Perform calibration activities to verify gauge performance and capability

+ Test equipment against traceable measurement standards

+ Communicate effectively with all departments to resolve quality concerns

+ Utilize measuring instruments such as CMMs, sine bars, comparators, gauge blocks, micrometers, calipers, hardness testers, and surface indicators

Essential Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in quality inspection and control

+ Proficiency in calipers, micrometers, and measuring instruments

+ Knowledge of **CMM** and **ISO 9001** standards

+ Background in metal fabrication and machining

+ Ability to perform visual inspections and read blueprints

+ Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments

Work Environment

+ Training on the **1st shift** required

+ Must be open to working **6 AM – 10 PM** , Monday through Friday ( **8-hour shifts** )

+ Hands-on work with precision measuring equipment and technology

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
