    Job Title: Structural Welder

    Job Description

    Join our team as a structural welder, where your expertise will be essential in crafting high-quality structures. We are looking for skilled professionals who can proficiently weld using Mig and Flux techniques, read blueprints, and accurately use tape measures. You will also need to possess the knowledge and ability to set ampage/voltage on welding machines and grind welds. Welding in the 3G (vertical) position is a must.

    Responsibilities

    + Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures.

    + Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.

    + Set up components for welding according to specifications by cutting materials with powered saws to match measurements.

    + Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.

    + Align components using calipers and rulers, and clamp pieces securely.

    + Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, or overhead.

    + Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.

    + Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Mig and Flux welding techniques.

    + Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.

    + Knowledge of setting ampage/voltage on welding machines.

    + Ability to weld in 3G (vertical) position.

    + 4-7 years of relevant experience in production.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in fabrication and welding production.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work on the 1st Shift from 5am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, or the Night Shift from 5pm-4:30am, Monday through Friday.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
