Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves the installation, calibration, and repair of electronic equipment using circuit diagrams and drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various electrical systems within our facility.

Responsibilities

+ Install, calibrate, and repair electronic equipment using diagrams and drawings.

+ Regularly calibrate weighing systems.

+ Perform repairs on atmospheric measuring devices.

+ Troubleshoot production equipment failures and conduct preventive maintenance on crushing equipment, material handling equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and pumps.

+ Troubleshoot and program PLCs.

+ Ensure spare parts and preventive maintenance activities are accurately recorded.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in electrical installation and troubleshooting.

+ Ability to run conduit and ensure safety throughout the facility.

+ Expertise in troubleshooting 3-phase electrical systems within industrial settings.

+ Skilled in wiring panels to ensure proper power distribution.

+ Competent in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must hold a valid license to work in the state of KY.

+ Familiarity with the National Electrical Code.

+ Minimum of 3 years of electrical maintenance experience.

+ Industrial experience is required.

Work Environment

The work environment is similar to that of a chemical manufacturing company, with conditions that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees will work around furnaces and other parts of the facility that are subject to the elements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $86881.60 - $86881.60/yr.
