Job Description

As a Maintenance Lead Technician, you will work with Witron fully automated Material Handling Equipment, including conveyors, sorting machines, cranes, transfer machines, palletizers, and shrink-wrapping machines. You will also oversee a team of 2-3 technicians. You must be proficient in using Microsoft Office to update PMs and work orders while documenting activities conducted on equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair on automated equipment.

+ Troubleshoot PLCs and perform root cause analysis.

+ Read schematics to identify equipment faults.

+ Supervise a team of 2-3 technicians.

Essential Skills

+ Full electrical system experience.

+ Mechanical maintenance and repair.

+ PLC troubleshooting.

+ Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Schematic reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Maintenance leadership experience.

+ Supervisory skills.

+ Experience in HVAC, maintenance repair, and fabrication.

+ Forklift operation.

+ Experience with parts ordering and use of manual mill and lathe is a plus.

+ A good work attitude during training is non-negotiable.

Work Environment

Work within a 37-member Maintenance Team in a cold storage environment with varying temperatures of 55, 34, and -5 degrees in different parts of the facility. You will work around industrial machinery, and steel toe boots, a coat, and gloves are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $82160.00 - $88400.00/yr.
