Description

Average shift time will be 7am-3:30pm with OT as needed

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform a variety of tasks involving finish carpentry, including trim work, cabinetry, and fine woodwork to enhance interior and exterior spaces

2. Install and refine moldings, baseboards, staircases, and other decorative elements

3. Ensure precise measurements and clean cuts when working with wood, ensuring seamless joints and professional finishes

4. Maintain a clean and organized job site: pick up tools, equipment, and materials while securing workspaces to eliminate potential hazards

5. Material handling and storage, including the proper care and transportation of wood, tools, and finishing supplies

6. Load and unload trucks, haul materials, and hoist custom woodwork and fixtures into place

7. Ensure proper safety procedures, including incident reporting and adherence to carpentry safety guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and best practices in finish work

2. Familiarity with wood types, adhesives, fasteners, and finishing techniques such as staining and sealing

3. Ability to work independently and complete detailed tasks according to project schedules

4. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform intricate carpentry under various conditions

5. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
