Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician - Multi Craft Maintenance
Hourly Pay
$37hr-$42hr ($63,000yr - $83,000yr + 10% Shift Differential)
As the **Maintenance Lead,** you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:
Essential Functions:
+ Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
+ Work directly with Facility & Maintenance manager in overall operation and repair of the facility and production equipment
+ Assist with cost accounting and project planning, submit budget recommendations and monitor expenditures
+ Perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, refrigeration, etc.
+ Perform skilled maintenance work relating primarily to production equipment, including electrical, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatic, etc.
+ Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment, including repair CNC equipment and the use of programmable logic controllers (PLC)
+ Install, teardown, and re-locate a variety of equipment
+ Maintaining forklifts and man lifts
+ Perform a variety of machine shop fabrication and repairs
+ Perform advanced preventative maintenance using specialized equipment
+ Perform various machining or bench operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges requiring skill and a basic knowledge of tooling practices and applications. Work from drawings and specifications where applicable
+ Understands health and safety issues and insures all safety procedures are followed by assignee
+ Maintain work order records, through assigning and closing
+ It is essential the employee reports to work on time on scheduled workdays and maintains good work attendance
+ It is essential the employee work scheduled mandatory overtime hours
+ Job rotation is required, where applicable
+ Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
+ Work with and train other employees
+ Provide superior customer service at all times
+ Perform wide variety of general building maintenance
+ Provides adequate support, training and development to team members to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
+ Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
+ Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ As may be required, forklift driver skill and certification
+ CNC Machine Maintenance & Repair Preferred. (Okuma and MULTUS)
+ Successfully complete all required training classes, either as prerequisite or selection or to ongoing skill building training.
+ 5-8 years of maintenance experience.
+ Able to operate hand tools, power tools and testing equipment required to perform maintenance.
+ Knowledge of Lock out Tag-Out
+ Demonstrated ability to work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.
+ It is understood employees may be assigned to other departments, functional groups, and/or shifts as deemed necessary by management
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday.
+ Ability to perform occasional bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and reaching
+ There are multiple individual jobs covered by this job description with varying physical requirements. May be required to lift or carry parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights
+ Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
+ Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $83000.00/yr.
