Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to repair, troubleshoot, and service electronic security systems for commercial customers. The role involves performing preventative maintenance inspections, responding to customer issues, and providing solutions. You will resolve software or hardware problems at customer sites and be responsible for ongoing service delivery, urgent service response calls, and installing security and alarm systems and financial equipment. The position covers Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse areas, with no overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

+ Repair, troubleshoot, and service electronic security systems for commercial customers.

+ Perform preventative maintenance inspections.

+ Respond to customer issues and offer solutions.

+ Resolve software or hardware problems at customer sites.

+ Deliver ongoing service and respond to urgent service calls.

+ Install security, alarm systems, and financial equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

+ Electronics technician degree or 3+ years equivalent experience.

+ Willingness to travel throughout Western and Central New York.

+ Experience in electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, installation, conduit, wiring, blueprint reading, and fire alarm installation.

Work Environment

You will be working in commercial environments such as hospitals, office parks, and industrial facilities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, performing service and installations in the Elmira area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
