    Job Title: General Production Worker - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team in the Shipping & Operations department, where you will play a crucial role in the loading and unloading of products using a forklift, blending materials when necessary, and packaging finished goods. Your contribution will ensure smooth labeling and shipping processes, while also supporting operators when needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload products using a forklift.

    + Blend materials as needed to meet production specifications.

    + Package finished products for distribution.

    + Label products accurately and prepare them for shipping.

    + Assist operators in running production areas efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and understand English.

    + Experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is preferred.

    + Forklift operation experience is a plus.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs of material.

    + Ability to push reels, materials, or equipment weighing 40 to 60 lbs.

    + Comfortable standing, bending, and stretching during 12-hour shifts.

    Work Environment

     

    Work a rotating 12-hour shift from 7pm to 7am. A performance evaluation occurs every six months, with opportunities for pay raises based on your contributions.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pawcatuck, Connecticut.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
