Hiring Shipping Specialist!!

1st shift; Pay:$21/hr

Job Description

The Shipping Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders for shipment. This position involves filling daily orders, packaging and shipping UPS orders, and handling all paperwork related to shipping and receiving products.

Responsibilities

+ Fill and package orders for shipment.

+ Process UPS orders and manage shipping paperwork.

+ Keep all stocked areas organized and clean.

+ Load trucks with prepared orders.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in forklift operation.

+ Experience in order filling and shipping.

+ Knowledge of Excel and SAP software.

+ Understanding of shipping and receiving processes.

+ Familiarity with UPS Worldship and FedEx systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 2 years of experience in shipping or warehouse roles.

+ Ability to lift 10-20 lbs regularly and occasionally lift 50-75 lbs.

+ Flexibility to work overtime if needed.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with some flexibility required. The environment resembles a metal manufacturing setting, similar to an auto body shop. Dress code includes pants (no sweats or athletic wear) and short-sleeve shirts or longer, with steel-toed boots required. This is a non-union shop.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
