    Job Title: Aircraft Technician

    Job Description

    A&P Mechanics are responsible for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of piston and turboprop-driven aircraft, including models such as Cirrus, Piper, Cessna, Beechcraft, and Mooney. This role involves conducting aircraft inspections, troubleshooting resulting aircraft issues, and implementing appropriate repairs and solutions. Responsibilities cover airframe, powerplant, and other mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on piston and turboprop-driven aircraft.

    + Conduct inspections and troubleshoot aircraft issues, resolving 'squawks' effectively.

    + Repair and maintain airframe, powerplant, and other mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

    + Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Valid A&P License.

    + 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.

    + Experience with general aviation and turbo prop aircraft.

    + Proficiency in maintaining and repairing Cirrus, Piper, Cessna, Beechcraft, and Mooney models.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Turbo prop experience preferred.

    + Experience with PT6 engines, turboprop, line maintenance, and heavy maintenance.

    + Mechanically inclined with the ability to use tools effectively.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a hanger environment that is not climate-controlled, alongside a team of 13 mechanics and expanding. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, starting between 8 AM and 9 AM, for 8-hour days.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
