Job Title: Journeyman Plumber
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber proficient in the installation and repair of potable, sanitary waste, combined waste, and grease systems within a commercial environment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in safely operating and using cable machines and cameras for line locating and inspection, and will be comfortable working in confined spaces and performing overhead tasks from scissor lifts.
Responsibilities
+ Perform concrete demolition, doweling, rough patch pours, backfilling, and compaction of work areas as needed.
+ Conduct excavation work, including digging, installing support braces, and shoring as required.
+ Install grease interceptors, traps, sump pumps, and commercial plumbing systems effectively.
+ Install commercial gas, electric water heaters, and tankless water heaters.
+ Collaborate with other trades to ensure efficient completion of projects.
+ Adhere to safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and workplace policies.
+ Practice customer and company confidentiality while maintaining a professional demeanor.
+ Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
+ Exercise sound judgment in dealing with employee relations issues and maintain rapport within the department.
+ Efficiently perform data entry, manage databases, and utilize internet and related technology.
Essential Skills
+ Three or more years of experience as a commercial plumber.
+ Proficient installation and repair skills for commercial plumbing systems.
+ Manual dexterity for tasks involving gripping, grasping, and twisting motions.
+ Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
+ Attention to detail and perceptive listening abilities.
+ Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must provide and maintain own basic hand tools.
+ Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving report.
+ Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
+ Proficient in using personal protection equipment including a hard hat, hi-vis vest, safety glasses, ear protection, and safety-rated shoes or boots.

Work Environment
Working hours are from 10pm to 6am, Sunday to Thursday. The work environment includes exposure to both indoor and outdoor conditions, with potential exposure to heat, cold, wind, and sun. Employees may encounter noises, heights, contaminants, and small spaces, with reasonable accommodations provided for individuals with disabilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $98000.00 - $104000.00/yr.
