    Job Title: Plumbing Apprentice

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team committed to excellence in plumbing installation and maintenance. You will engage in tasks such as No Hub installations, plumbing for branch and shower lines, gas lines, and copper and cast iron plumbing. The role also involves brazing and soldering copper pipes, working with PVC and PEX, and handling plumbing sewer, drain, and septic lines.

    Responsibilities

    + Install and maintain No Hub plumbing systems.

    + Work with copper and cast iron plumbing.

    + Brazing and soldering of copper pipes.

    + Install and maintain PVC and PEX systems.

    + Handle plumbing sewer, drain, and septic lines.

    + Read and interpret blueprints for plumbing installations.

    + Ensure high-quality finishing in plumbing tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in plumbing installations, including No Hub and copper plumbing.

    + Experience with brazing and soldering copper pipes.

    + Ability to work with PVC, PEX, and cast iron plumbing systems.

    + Knowledge of plumbing sewer, drain, and gas lines.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA 30 and SST 10 certifications.

    + F60 and G60 certifications.

    + DOB Gas Card.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment spans across Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx, with flexibility for commuting by car or public transportation. The team values punctuality and productivity, requiring a proactive approach to tasks. The atmosphere is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Working hours start between 5:00 am and 6:00 am, with end times ranging from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and overtime is available. Personal tools, PPE, and measurement tools are essential, alongside a Plumbing Journeyman set of hand tools.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
