    Job Title: Press Brake Operator - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules. Select proper tooling and dies for each job. Inspect parts for accuracy using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges. Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts according to specifications.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

    + Select and install proper tooling and dies for each job.

    + Inspect parts for accuracy using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.

    + Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency.

    + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    + Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to set up and operate press brake machines.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

    + Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection processes.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + 1+ years of experience operating press brake machines preferred.

    + Troubleshooting skills in CNC press brake operations.

    + Basic computer skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work during the 1st shift, from Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 3 PM. The environment prioritizes safety and cleanliness, providing all necessary equipment for efficient operations.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Chute, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
