    Job Title: Aircraft Body Repairer

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team at a newly opened facility in Richmond, where your skills as an Aircraft Body Repairer will be vital. Engage in maintaining and repairing CRJ 200, 700, and 900 aircrafts through heavy maintenance tasks including C and D checks. As part of this role, you will perform hangar maintenance and support aircrafts from other operators, ensuring they are in optimal condition.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform heavy maintenance (C and D checks) on CRJ 200, 700, and 900 aircrafts.

    + Conduct hangar maintenance supporting 2-3 aircrafts on cycle.

    + Execute repairs on sheet and extruded metal structural parts of aircraft according to design specifications.

    + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery for fabrication procedures.

    + Read design specifications and examine sample parts to determine fabrication procedures.

    + Perform repetitive reliability checks and gear changes.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of aircraft maintenance or line maintenance experience.

    + Must provide basic hand tools.

    + Valid driver's license.

    + Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + A license preferred.

    + Preferred experience on CRJ 200, 700, 900, or other regional jets.

    Work Environment

     

    Work at Richmond International Airport alongside a team of 12 mechanics plus management and supervisors. Enjoy the flexibility of a 4-day, 10-hour shift work week from 9 PM to 7:30 AM. The environment is open to contractors and provides opportunities for potential direct hires.

    This is a Contract position based out of Henrico, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
