    Warehouse Material Handler

     

    $17.50/hr

    Job Description

    The Warehouse Material Handler is tasked with operating power industrial trucks and machinery to efficiently move products, materials, and supplies from one location to another. This role involves loading items onto trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets. Candidates will be operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials.

    + Load and unload items onto trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets.

    + Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and order picking.

    + Handle material and inventory efficiently.

    + Perform general labor and production tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months of experience operating forklifts (stand-up or sit-down).

    + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

    + Proficiency in basic math skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in material handling.

    + Familiarity with RF scanners.

    + Skills in order picking.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a manufacturing and production environment, where employees may be exposed to high and precarious places, moving machinery, changes in temperature and humidity, dust, odors, and fumes. The environment can be loud, and it is not climate-controlled, being very hot in summer and normal in winter. Work is conducted indoors, with approximately 300 employees on site. Steel-toe footwear is required, and casual attire such as jeans or shorts is acceptable. Shift is 7AM-3:30PM | Monday - Friday

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
