    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Mechanic works in partnership with company leadership and Production leadership to perform basic to extensive maintenance and electrical repairs on food manufacturing machinery and equipment. This includes conveyors, packaging equipment, vacuum sealing equipment, production equipment, electrical control systems, and other related plant systems, while adhering to safety rules and focusing on food safety.

    Responsibilities

    + Order parts and manage inventory control using CMMS.

    + Understand simple drawings and wiring diagrams.

    + Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical equipment in assigned areas.

    + Analyze and resolve software/hardware and configuration problems in control systems.

    + Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment without supervision.

    + Assist in training Operators on equipment.

    + Follow all safety policies and practices; proactively identify safety hazards and risks.

    + Oversee and repair production-related machinery and equipment.

    + Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages.

    + Communicate with team leaders and production associates regarding critical findings during routine inspections.

    + Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
