Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance activities, measure and analyze machine data, determine the root cause of failures, and recommend resolutions. This role involves setting, adjusting, and maintaining assigned plastic injection molding machines and equipment, with a focus on production efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance activities under general supervision.

+ Measure and analyze machine data to determine root causes of failures.

+ Recommend resolutions for machine failures.

+ Set, adjust, and maintain plastic injection molding machines and equipment.

+ Ensure production efficiency and safety.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

+ Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.

+ Knowledge of injection molding, molding machines, and related equipment.

+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic.

+ Understanding of AC/DC motors and three-phase systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to visually inspect and troubleshoot machines to locate malfunctions.

+ Skills in inspecting and measuring parts to detect wear or misalignment.

+ Experience in fabrication and installation of related trades.

+ Ability to perform building maintenance and general carpentry.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, with minimal overtime required. The position is a 3rd shift role, from 11 PM to 7 AM, starting Sunday night.

This is a Permanent position based out of Roxboro, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $74880.00/yr.
