Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Field Service Technician, where you'll be responsible for building and troubleshooting machinery to ensure optimal performance. This role involves approximately 20-30% travel, including domestic trips lasting 4-6 days a month and an occasional international trip once a year. You'll work primarily on building customized machines and providing technical support to our clients.

Responsibilities

+ Build machines and troubleshoot customer machinery for adjustments.

+ Utilize blueprints to construct customized machines.

+ Wire electrical panels and troubleshoot machinery using PLCs.

+ Communicate with customers to provide technical assistance.

+ Use machine operation, maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics to troubleshoot and restore mechanical equipment to full operation.

+ Coordinate follow-up parts, documents, and other requirements from service calls, emails, and field trips.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician.

+ Experience in machine rebuilds and assembly.

+ Proficiency in PLCs, wiring, and schematics.

+ Troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in the GMP or food industry.

+ Balanced skills in both mechanical and electrical areas.

+ Previous travel experience and field service work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
