    Job Title: 3rd shift Production Line Lead

    Job Description

    The Line Associate position is crucial to ensuring the effective operation of the production line, meeting production, budgetary, quality, safety, and waste objectives. Under the guidance of the Production Manager, this role requires attentiveness to the work environment while maintaining a steady pace on a moving production line. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to various work assignments, uphold cleanliness, and adhere to safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines. Collaborating in a supportive team environment is essential to meet production quality and quantity standards while minimizing waste and downtime.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure effective operation of the production line to meet production needs and quality standards.

    + Responsible for line set-up, product changeovers, package size changes, and adjustments on line equipment.

    + Operate processing, filling, and packaging production line equipment.

    + Perform quality inspections of products and packs, including visual checks of raw materials, caps, labels, date codes, weights, packaging, and seals.

    + Monitor work activities of the line team to minimize downtime and practice waste control.

    + Process required inventory control transactions using SAP and accurately complete all necessary paperwork.

    + Perform allergen cleanup and daily housekeeping duties in the work area.

    + Assist in training employees on the operation of the line's equipment and company processes.

    + Help and develop others around them, demonstrating dependability and care in their work.

    + Ability to multitask and remain attentive to machinery during 12-hour shifts.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in production, general labor, machine operation, warehouse production, loading, warehouse packing, and troubleshooting.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is air-conditioned, clean, and indoors, with the distinct smell of seasonings. Employees must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment to comply with food manufacturing safety standards. The position offers various shifts: **M-F 3rd shift 10:30pm-7am**

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
