Job Title: Aerospace Manufacturing Technician III
Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Technician III, you will play a critical role in the hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of aerospace components and systems. You will work closely with engineers and quality teams to ensure that all products meet rigorous spaceflight standards.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assemble and integrate mechanical and electronic components for space systems.
+ Perform precision soldering, wiring, and mechanical fastening.
+ Operate tools and equipment such as torque wrenches, microscopes, and test fixtures.
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and schematics.
+ Conduct inspections and document results in accordance with quality standards.
+ Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly, preferably in aerospace or high-reliability environments.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, microscopes, and ESD-safe practices.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification.
+ Experience with cleanroom protocols and spaceflight hardware.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
