Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform crucial maintenance tasks on a variety of machinery, ensuring the seamless operation of our production processes. You will initially train on the first shift for approximately three months before transitioning to a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Responsibilities

+ Respond rapidly to all production breakdowns with a strong sense of urgency.

+ Install, maintain, and repair machinery, including candy forming machines, high-speed twist, pillow and roll wrapping machines, vertical and horizontal bagging machines, overwrap packaging machines, confectionary cooking and tempering machines, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and pick & place packaging equipment.

+ Interpret blueprints, sketches, and other specifications.

+ Troubleshoot and repair vacuum, centrifugal, diaphragm, gear, and reciprocating pumps.

+ Repair and adjust motors, controls, electric tools, and other electrical equipment.

+ Utilize basic welding and pipefitting skills.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.

+ Ability to troubleshoot packaging equipment.

+ Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations.

+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting.

+ Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ Certificates in electrical and mechanical schooling are a plus.

+ An Associate's Degree is advantageous.

+ Must supply a quality set of standard and metric size mechanic's tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
