Job Title: Tool Room Technician
Job Description
The Tool Room Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining molds, performing insert changes, and handling routine maintenance and repairs related to mold breakdowns. This role reports directly to the Tool Room Supervisor and collaborates closely with other production team members.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tooling and fixtures from the tool room.
+ Manage the issuance and return of tooling and equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Strong mechanical skills.
+ Experience in plastic injection molding is preferred.
+ Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness to learn blueprint reading and the use of precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
+ Basic math proficiency.
Work Environment
The position involves working in a tool room environment, handling various tooling and equipment. This role requires a collaborative approach, working alongside other production team members. The dress code is casual, suitable for a hands-on and dynamic work setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lees Summit, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.
