Job Title: Water Operator $16-19/hr (Weekly Pay)
Job Description
The Water Operator will communicate using various methods such as radio, cellular (Verizon & AT&T), and satellite, ensuring compatibility. The role involves local and remote control of systems via SCADA, utilizing a 7” touch screen mounted to each pump and a web-based interface. The position requires handling both Diesel and Electric Pumps (VFD), controlling them remotely and autonomously based on pressure, flow, or level. Automation and control of valves, ranging from manifold/tank to larger isolation valves, are essential functions.
Responsibilities
+ Lay and construct 6 and 10 inch poly, yellow mine, and aluminum water transfer lines.
+ Monitor pumps, tanks, lines, and other field equipment used in the water transfer process.
+ Utilize hand and power tools as needed.
+ Monitor frac tanks to ensure they have sufficient water for the site.
+ Perform general labor duties related to the water transfer process.
+ Walk lines in the field to check for leaks in the system.
Essential Skills
+ 6+ months of outdoor or industrial experience.
+ On-the-job experience using hand and power tools.
+ Valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Experience in the oil & gas industry or at least 6+ years of related experience (construction, manufacturing, landscaping, etc.).
+ Knowledge in landscape, construction, oil, gas, OSHA, and water transfer.
+ Safeland certification is a plus.
+ Ability to provide own steel-toe boots within the first week of work for safety compliance.

Work Environment
Contractors will work outdoors in all weather conditions and around well sites. Expect to work flexible hours, sometimes up to 60-80 hours per week, with typical shifts being 10-12 hours. The majority of work is local to the Washington County area. Be prepared to travel and commit to long-term employment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
