    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-notch coatings removal services using advanced chemical dip systems and specialized dipping operations. As a General Production Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing and packaging of products for shipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload ovens and tanks.

    + Process products through chemical dip systems and specialized coatings removal operations.

    + Package products for shipment, ensuring compliance with benchmark processing times.

    + Rotate parts from stripping processes to wash bays, RP, dry-off ovens, and packing areas.

    + Power wash parts and products using a 3000psi power washer.

    + Load hand baskets and rotate parts from one basket to another.

    + Identify and sort parts for download into containers.

    + Reposition parts as needed.

    + Complete wash logs, oven logs, and weight charts.

    + Operate scales and start burn-off and dry-off ovens.

    + Participate in continuous improvement activities.

    + Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring the highest level of safety standards.

    + Communicate and interact effectively, timely, and respectfully with employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customers.

    + Maintain general housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areas.

    + Comply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe handling practices.

    + Follow WHMIS, MSDS, and all other safety training requirements and procedures.

    + Comply with all government and regulatory requirements when handling and transporting chemical materials.

    + Foster a positive work environment.

    + Maintain regular and sustained attendance.

    + Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor and packaging experience.

    + 1+ years of manufacturing/production experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret documents.

    + Great verbal and written communication skills.

    + Able to lift 50lbs.

    + Forklift operation experience.

    + General production and machine operating skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ years of sit-down forklift experience.

    + Experience in the Coatings Removal industry is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The position offers both 1st Shift (6:00am – 02:30pm) and 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm) options. Expect frequent exposure to wet and humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. The role may require working various hours.

    This is a Contract position based out of Chilton, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
