Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated general production worker to join our team. This role involves replacing wooden pallets with plastic ones, aerating loads based on the production schedule, and occasionally performing preventative maintenance on equipment. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, often through early detection and the sound of machines in operation. Additionally, the ability to read basic measurement tools and follow work instructions is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Replace wooden pallets with plastic pallets and aerate loads prior to printing based on production schedule.

+ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and diagnose issues through early detection and sound of the machine.

+ Read and follow proper work instructions using basic measurement tools.

+ Lift or carry weights between 10 to 25 pounds and handle pallets weighing 40-52 pounds.

+ Stand regularly and use hands to fingers, handling or feeling objects, tools, or controls.

+ Frequently reach with hands and arms, and occasionally walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Work Environment

This entry-level position operates on a 3-2-2-3 shift schedule, providing consistent opportunities for rest and recuperation every other weekend. The role involves hands-on activities in a dynamic production environment, where safety and teamwork are prioritized.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Kingston Springs, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
