    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repair and preventive maintenance on plant and facility machinery. The ideal candidate will possess experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial environments and have the ability to conduct routine mechanical and electrical repairs. Success in this position requires minimizing downtime and effective troubleshooting skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform repair and preventive maintenance on plant and facility machinery.

    + Conduct routine mechanical and electrical repairs.

    + Minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting.

    + Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    + Engage in welding and plumbing tasks.

    + Interpret schematics and blueprints for fabrication and welding.

    + Maintain HVAC systems and industrial equipment.

    + Handle 3-phase electrical systems and mechanical bearing systems.

    + Install and control motor systems.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics maintenance repair.

    + Proficiency in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

    + Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.

    + Knowledge of HVAC systems and welding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in Excel and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

    + Understanding of fire protection and mechanical bearing systems.

    + Ability to install equipment and understand motor control systems.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a steel manufacturing plant supporting various industries. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 3:30 PM to 2 AM, with some Saturdays required. Training will be provided during daytime hours.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $60840.00/yr.
